Wondrous Sky (9/8/15)

The sight in the sky made me pause
Took me aback for a moment
Took my breath away for a heartbeat
The stars were dizzying in their amount
The moon glowed in its crescent form
I felt like I could reach up and touch
The stardust and galaxies
An image I wish I could capture
So I could see it every time I liked
If only our eyes had lenses
And our minds held film
So we could capture a moment
And share it on a whim

My Knight in armor

Tarnished from life
